Position Summary

The Manager, NIL Partnerships is an early-career revenue and partnership role within Arizona Sports Enterprises, designed for professionals looking to grow in collegiate sponsorship and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) sales.

This role supports the sourcing, development, and execution of corporate partnerships, with a strong emphasis on NIL-integrated programs that connect brands with Arizona student-athletes in authentic, compliant ways. The Manager will assist in prospecting, proposal development, partner communication, and NIL activation while managing a smaller book of business and contributing to larger team sales efforts.

The ideal candidate is organized, curious, relationship-oriented, and eager to learn the intersection of sponsorship, NIL, and college athletics operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. NIL Sales & Activation (60%)

  • Support the development and sale of NIL opportunities for corporate partners.
  • Assist in packaging NIL assets into broader sponsorship programs.
  • Help educate prospective partners on NIL basics, compliance guardrails, and creative possibilities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, student-athletes, and compliance partners to support NIL deal execution.
  • Track NIL deliverables, timelines, and partner expectations.
  • Contribute to the development of ASE’s NIL sales tools, templates, and partner materials.
  • Support storytelling and community-focused NIL initiatives aligned with University values.

2. Corporate Partnership Sales & Support (40%)

  • Assist in prospecting and qualifying local and regional partners.
  • Help develop sponsorship proposals that include signage, digital, social, hospitality, community impact, and experiential assets.
  • Manage select entry-level partnerships and assist senior sellers with larger accounts.
  • Participate in sales meetings, presentations, and follow-up communications.
  • Coordinate with Partnership Marketing (Activation) to ensure sold assets are executed as promised.

3. Partner & Internal Collaboration

  • Serve as a point of contact for assigned partners, supporting communication and day-to-day needs.
  • Work cross-functionally with Creative, Digital, NIL, and Activation teams to execute partnership programs.
  • Assist with recaps, reporting, and basic performance summaries tied to sponsorship and NIL activities.
  • Represent ASE at select games, events, and partner activations.

4. Compliance, Operations & Professional Development

  • Ensure all NIL-related activity aligns with NCAA, conference, institutional, and ASE guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and deal documentation.
  • Stay current on NIL trends, sponsorship best practices, and collegiate athletics developments.
  • Demonstrate growth toward independent selling, partner management, and NIL leadership over time.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sports, sponsorship, marketing, sales support, NIL, or related fields.
  • Interest in collegiate athletics, sponsorship, and NIL.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Comfortable learning sales concepts and engaging with partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
