Position Summary

The Corporate Sponsorships Manager will play a critical role in generating new business and revenue for Arizona Athletics by identifying, developing, and closing integrated sponsorship partnerships. This individual will be a key contributor to ASE’s growth goals and will work across sports, platforms, and community-focused initiatives to build value-driven relationships with corporate partners on a local, regional, and national scale.

This is a high-impact sales role requiring a self-starter with strong communication skills, creative thinking, and a passion for the power of collegiate sports to connect brands with fans, alumni, and the broader Tucson community.

Responsibilities

  • Drive net-new revenue through the development, pitching, and closing of integrated corporate partnership deals across University of Arizona Athletics.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales pipeline, including prospecting, outreach, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Leverage ASE’s full suite of marketing assets—broadcast, digital, social, experiential, in-venue, community programs, and NIL integrations—to craft custom solutions for clients.
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with key decision-makers across categories, with a focus on long-term growth and partnership alignment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with ASE's Partnership Marketing, Legal, Creative, Community Relations, and University stakeholders to bring partnerships to life.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, peer institutions, and competitive landscape to identify white space and innovation opportunities.
  • Track and manage sales activity and revenue forecasting in CRM software.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in corporate partnership sales, preferably in sports, entertainment, or media.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to sell ideas through storytelling and data.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel); CRM (Salesforce) experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with the college athletics ecosystem and the Tucson business community is a plus.
