What to Expect
The Army West Point Athletics Association Inc Ticketing Department is seeking creative, passionate, and self-motivated individuals to fill marketing intern positions for the 2025-2026 academic year. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Performing outbound sales and service calls to generate leads for ticketed sports, working Army Football gamedays, implementing sales strategies and gameday promotional activities, and assisting with and planning special events. Candidates should be team-oriented, have flexible schedules, and must be willing to work weekends and nights. Excellent oral and written communications skills are essential and knowledge of sports and an interest in the sports business industry are a plus. These positions are open to full-time or part-time college graduate and undergraduate students.
What You'll Do
60 % Sales and Service
- Perform outbound sales and service calls to generate leads for ticket opportunities.
- Correspond with Army Football season ticket members to answer questions and inform of account updates
- Understand the sales cycle, how to interact with customers, and utilize relevant software (e.g. Paciolan, Salesforce) to sell tickets for events
- Act as a front-facing member of a professional sports organization, engaging positively and professionally to a wide-range of stakeholders
20% Gameday responsibilities
- Engage clients and fans at Ticket sales table on Football and other athletics tickets games.
- Provide ticket gate entrance mobile app support as a representative to assist with folks that may have mobile ticketing questions.
15% Research industry best practices for Ticket Sales and Service
5% Additional duties and special projects as assigned.
