Successful applicants will benefit from exposure to Division I athletics and military/tactical training, continuing professional education (including a full educational curriculum), the opportunity to further develop as coaches in a practical setting, and on-going support from our network of intern graduates and staff members. Interns will be immersed in the day-to-day work environment and fully integrated with their mentors’ teams - this will include assisting with general administration and maintenance, session set-up and break-down, data collection, and most importantly, coaching and supporting the cadet-athletes. This internship will also fulfil hours required for the CsCCa-SCCC exam under the mentorship of Director of Strength and Conditioning Scott Swanson.

This position will be housed within the AWPAA, which is a non-profit corporation organized to manage and support the 30 intercollegiate athletic programs at the Academy.
