The assistant track and field coach will assist the Head Coach with the recruitment of and ongoing teaching and instruction of Cadet-Athletes in the speed/power events of track and field to include but not limited to the vertical jumps and combined events.  The assistant coach will perform administrative tasks as assigned to include but not limited to assisting the head coach with team travel, equipment maintenance and procurement, budget projections and reconciliations, fund raising, team accountability and management. The successful candidate will also adhere to all rules related to NCAA Division 1 athletics, the Patriot League and the United States Military Academy.
Minimum education: Bachelor's degree. Master's preferred. 
Minimum experience: Preferred experience: 3 or more years as an NCAA, NAIA or  NJCAA track and field coach
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: All Office 365 work products (Word, Excel PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, etc.) • Exceptional communication skills • The ability to form and maintain relationships with individuals from a variety of backgrounds Preferred certifications include: USATF coaches education level 1, level 2 (sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, combined events). USTFCCCA coaching certifications (sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, combined events, relays)
Required equipment experience: Desktop computer, copier, printer, filing systems, cellular phone, and iPad
