Atlanta Hall Management, Inc. (AHM) is a non-profit, 501(c) 3, charitable organization established to operate the College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience (CFHOF). The 94,256 square foot space located on Marietta Street near the Georgia World Congress Center, Georgia Dome, and Omni Hotel showcases an exciting, entertaining, and highly interactive attraction to hundreds of thousands of college football fans, tourists, and business travelers in one of the largest and most vibrant, diverse cities in the country.
The College Football Hall of Fame in partnership with Microsoft is currently seeking an intern interested in practical work experience with data analysis and visualization, and introduction to computer system support via a technical operation of networked experiential systems for public use. This internship will involve challenging opportunities and real technical projects. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field working with internal stakeholders and external partners. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will have an interest in football and should be pursuing a career in Data Analytics or Computer Science. In addition, the intern should expect flexibility in hours and hard work required to succeed in a public facing technical operation.
Internship Description and Goals:
The Technology Intern will provide direct technical assistance and support to the CFHOF for data and analytics and gain introductory exposure to both on-prem and cloud data warehouse environments. Duties will include working with data streams to prepare visualizations for use by various departments, updating variables for existing reports, and creation of new reports requested by the CFHOF team. Additionally, the intern will gain familiarity with a hosted data warehouse and learn about varying streams of data sources.
The Goal of the internship is to provide each intern with the opportunity to:
- Absorb field knowledge related to varying scopes of data by working on a variety of tasks at the CFHOF
- Work through important assignments that will directly contribute to the mission of the CFHOF
- Prove his/her abilities and knowledge base
- Network with department leaders and other professionals.

Position Requirement:
- Must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate level degree in a technology field with a focus in data
- A basic understanding of computer networking.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Proficiency in data applications with some knowledge of cloud computing and services (SQL, PowerBI and other Microsoft Platforms are preferred as these will be the tools available)
- Conducting research via internet
- Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage time.
- Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
