The College Football Playoff is seeking paid interns for the 2026-2027 season. These individuals will play a vital role in the success of their respective departments and contribute to the overall mission of CFP. This CFP internship program offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, providing valuable opportunities for professional growth and development within the sports industry.
CFP Interns will be employed in Irving, Texas, from July 14, 2026, to April 30, 2027. They will work Monday through Friday, with occasional opportunities for overtime on nights and weekends during peak business periods. To be considered, all candidates must have earned a bachelor's degree by July 1, 2026.

STADIUM AND GAME OPERATIONS:
Position Description: Support CFP Stadium & Game Operations department in the planning, management, and execution of general stadium and game operations for the 2027 College Football Playoff National Championship and First-Round games in the 12-Team format. Areas of focus include but are not limited to the following: facility operations, game management, game pageantry, game officials, fan experience, game production, parking/transportation, security, concessions, guest services, accreditation, signage and volunteer supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Director and Assistant Director of Stadium & Game Operations and stadium operations planning partners on all events within the stadium campus.
- Update informational collateral and manuals for fans, stadium staff, participating institutions, volunteers, public safety and other key stakeholders.
- Assist in the planning of first-round games.
- Assist with deliveries and loading dock operations for the national championship.
- Work with planning partners on the rental and distribution of golf carts and radios.
- Assist with the game script and the run of show.
- Assist with the ordering and shipping of all game day needed equipment for the CFP Playoff.
- Oversee the logistics and load-in of suites at the national championship.
- Aid in the planning of a security tabletop exercise.
- Communicate with stadium operations volunteers throughout the year and on-site.
- Work collaboratively on the management of all operational expenses according to a pre-approved budget.
- Reconciliation and payment request monitoring.
- Work collaboratively with other interns and staff on office-wide projects as needed.
- Answer and return phone calls and electronic correspondence as needed.

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1+ years of event planning/game management experience preferred
- Must have excellent oral and communication skills and experience with producing manuals and collateral materials.
- Able to manage, prioritize and bring multiple projects to completion.
- Professionalism and problem-solving skills are required.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and have a high degree of discretion in dealing with confidential matters.
- Attention to detail, adaptability to a changing environment and dependability are extremely important.
- Ability to work under pressure and autonomously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Flexibility to work long hours including evenings and weekends.
