About the Role
The Senior Vice President, College (the "SVP”) will serve as a senior leader within the collegiate athletics division of Altius. Reporting directly to the President of Altius, the SVP will help drive the College strategy, strengthen executive-level client relationships, and deliver high-impact consulting services to athletics departments nationwide. This is a highly visible and relationship-focused role, ideal for a dynamic leader with a passion for supporting college athletics administrators, shaping the future of the industry, and actively contributing to Altius’ continued growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to College clients, delivering insight-driven recommendations and tailored consulting services.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with executive-level decision-makers, including athletics directors, deputy athletics directors and senior administrators, and other campus and industry leaders.
  • Represent Altius at industry events and on campuses nationwide — travel is expected approximately 1-2 days per week, 1-2 weeks per month.
  • Collaborate with Altius’ executive team, including the President of Altius, to refine and execute organizational strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including client engagement managers and on-campus personnel, the Client Strategy & Insights (CSI) team, the Brands team, and Altius’ parent company, underdog & company, and sister agencies, underdog venture team and B. Partners
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant trends and best practices in collegiate athletics and higher education – in areas such as athlete and athletics department revenue generation strategies, athletics department operations and finances, the NIL regulatory landscape, athletes’ commercial rights and benefits, and employment and quasi-employment issues – to inform corporate and client strategy
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and achievement of objectives, in a manner that optimizes team performance and client satisfaction.
  • Support new business development and strategic growth within College.
  • Participate in and contribute to public-facing thought leadership opportunities.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team-oriented culture and high-performance remote work environment.

Qualifications
  • Executive-level experience in college athletics, professional sports, or a related field, such as labor/employment law (e.g., collective bargaining).
  • Deep knowledge of the collegiate athletics landscape, including NIL, revenue sharing, revenue generation strategy, corporate sponsorships, and operational challenges.
  • Previous consulting, strategic advisory, or client services experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior leadership and build long-term professional relationships.
  • Experience managing personnel, overseeing teams, or serving as a property lead or department head.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the country.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and prioritization, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
