About the Position

The Santa Cruz Warriors are looking for hardworking individuals with experience operating cameras and video equipment in a sports or entertainment venue.

This is a part-time position based in Santa Cruz, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate wireless and stationary cameras for video board feed
  • Capture live events throughout arena and game action as assigned
  • Set-up camera and accessories prior to each game
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience operating a camera at a sporting event
  • Firm understanding of the game of basketball, including rules and regulations
  • Effective communicator with sound judgment; ability to collaborate with teams in a positive manner
  • Excellent and engaging interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • High energy, strong detail orientation and superior work ethic
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced work environment
Physical Demands
  • Ability to push/pull/carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb stairs; ability to sit/turn/bend/stand for long periods of time
Time Commitment
  • Committed to work the majority of home games – 24 regular season games and playoffs
  • 5 hour shifts on game days, typically 5:00pm to 10:00pm
Compensation
  • $32.50 Per Hour
