The Golden State Warriors and Chase Center are seeking an upbeat, dynamic and motivated Stats Producer. In this role, you will serve as the primary statistical information source for CG Operators and Warriors Board Show Control Room. As a stats producer, you will identify unique and pertinent Warriors & visiting team statistics as well as compile stats and game notes for use in video board show production. You will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day task and coordinating content for show elements with emphasis on incorporating stats through various platforms. Our ideal statistician has to be a self-proclaimed “stats guru”.

This is a part-time seasonal position based in San Francisco, CA

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Warriors in-house game presentation team to incorporate statistical information into the show.
  • Identify key matchups, game milestones & any other relevant statistical information
  • Monitor information sources for new stats and stay plugged into statistical information in real time
  • Facilitate and assist the Chase Center production crew in control room operations and other various duties regarding the Warriors Board Show
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

  • Knowledge of and a real passion for the Golden State Warriors/professional NBA basketball and live entertainment
  • Understanding of analytics and statistics in a sports environment
  • Identify unique and pertinent Golden State Warriors & visiting team statistical information.
  • Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude, able to work independently, take initiative in fulfilling job responsibilities
  • Strong communication, including written, verbal, and public speaking with ability to communicate at all levels in a partnership environment
  • Experience with broadcast graphics systems, exp. Ross Xpression or Chyron preferred

 Time commitment

  • Available to work majority of Warriors home games from October 2019 to June 2020 (preseason, regular season and potential playoff games)
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work a dynamic, on-call 24/7 schedule (overnights, evenings, weekends and holidays) during the season as required. Average of 29 hours/week
