About the Position

Golden State is looking for a Manager to bring a strategic and analytic approach to our overall Corporate Partnership objectives across the partnership lifecycle. This role will be critical in supporting our team to drive a competitive advantage through revenue-generation across all properties (Chase Center, Golden State Warriors, Golden State Valkyries, Santa Cruz Warriors, and Golden State Entertainment). This position reports to the Vice President, Partnership Insights.

This is a full-time position located onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Vice President on partnership strategy & solutions across multiple stages of the partnership lifecycle, specifically growth and retention of existing corporate partners
  • Develop and execute a strategic approach to partner renewals and upsells, identifying key timelines, emerging trends, and areas of focus
  • Support GTM strategy and packaging within proposals alongside the Sales team 
  • Align new organizational opportunities & platforms with current & prospective partner objectives
  • Create and curate a comprehensive library of best practices, case studies and white papers that showcase the measurable results achieved through partnerships with Golden State
  • Oversee relationships with a subset of 3rd party measurement providers, delivering insights that streamline partner reporting and the recap process 
  • Foster collaboration and alignment amongst Partnership Insights, Development and Sales teams to optimize workflows and reduce time-to-market for new partnership initiatives
  • Manage the NBA revenue reporting submission process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and support the WNBA and/or G League submissions as needed
  • Analyze and distribute key insights and potential opportunities identified from internal, external and league reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or business administration, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years working at a property, agency, brand, or consulting firm with a specialization in strategy, research, and/or consumer insights; experience working for a revenue-generating team a plus
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between brand marketing objectives and cross-platform media offerings that drive & achieve a brand’s business goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and Tableau
  • Utilization of sports industry measurement services that capture media, viewership, PR, sentiment, brand health, and acquisition attributed to a partnership 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build positive relationships internally and externally
  • Proactive and goal-oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility with changing priorities; ability to organize, prioritize and handle workload

Time Commitment

  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed

Compensation

  • $80,000 + Bonus + Commission (approx. OTE $108,000)
