About the Position
Golden State and Chase Center are looking for a highly motivated and organized Coordinator to support the Guest Experiences Department by focusing on two key areas: Team Member logistics and relations. This role is a vital partner to the Manager, Team Member Relations, handling the accurate scheduling and payroll functions while also assisting with critical Team Member relations matters. This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee scheduling and payroll functions for Guest Experiences Team Members, coordinating payroll operations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Partner with the People Operations and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll data and compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as union contracts
- Oversee the time and attendance policy and collaborate with management to ensure adherence
- Assist the Manager, Team Member Relations with administrative and support tasks, including drafting corrective action documents, maintaining accurate Team Member information, and tracking/resolving Team Member issues
- Coordinate all Team Member correspondence related to scheduling, payroll, and relations matters; Serve as a first point of contact for Team Member inquiries and a reliable resource for managers and leaders
- Assist with the hiring and onboarding of Guest Experience Team Members, ensuring compliance with union contracts and other regulations
- Collaborate with other departments on key initiatives to support the overall mission and values of the organization
- Act as Manager on Duty during select Chase Center and Thrive City events
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in payroll, human resources, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite; familiarity with STARS and UKG Pro is a plus
- Familiarity with payroll processing, scheduling, and labor laws preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and resolution skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization
Time Commitment
- Ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 30 lbs.
Compensation
- $26.00 - 27.00 per hour + Bonus
