About this Position
Chase Center is looking for technicians to support A/V operations for all events at the arena, including: operation and maintenance of all arena digital displays, sound systems, lighting systems, and the coordination of all radio and TV broadcast operations. This role will report to the Manager of A/V Systems & Broadcast Operations.

This is a part-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA. This is a unionized position with IATSE Local 16 as a Chase Center employee.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional audio/visual experience for all Chase Center events, including Warriors games, Chase Center concerts and internal meetings
- Set, operate, and strike all A/V equipment for internal and external events
- Ensure all equipment is returned to the proper storage location and any necessary maintenance is completed or communicated to management
- Work with the Chase Center Event Services team to ensure that each event's A/V and broadcast building needs are met
- Assist in the operation, maintenance, and repairs of all Chase Center lights and lighting controls, arena sound systems, interior and exterior digital displays, individual Crestron AV systems, arena intercom, etc.
- Set-up and troubleshoot game scoring and timing systems, including: locker room clocks, shot clocks, game/24-second clock control, etc.
- Assist with arena and site RF coordination
- Maintain arena broadcast-related cabling infrastructure
- Work with other departments including Production and Building Operations to coordinate repairs and maintenance on systems to avoid impact to events
- Use CMMS work order system to close out preventative maintenance work orders for all digital displays, lighting, sound, intercom, spotlights, photo strobes, and more
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve operational problems, complaints, and emergency repairs in a timely and efficient manner, and communicate this information to management
- Assist all internal departments, vendors, and clients as assigned

Required Experience & Skills
- At least 3 years of professional experience relating to entertainment A/V systems operation in a multipurpose sports arena or similar sports and entertainment environment
- Operational knowledge of broadcast technology and cabling
- Technical expertise in areas of entertainment sound and lighting
- Knowledge of current trends and technology in A/V production (preferred experience with RTS comm and IP distributed audio systems including Dante, MADI, AES67, Harman Audio Architect, etc).
- Strong foundational knowledge of audio best practices (i.e., speaker placement, microphone selection, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- A positive attitude and desire to learn new technologies and skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Ability to take directions and work as a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands
- Good physical condition and health, including sufficient strength and stamina for heavy, awkward and repeated lifting
- Capable of performing manual labor for extended periods of time; ability to stand, sit, bend, work with arms raised, and walk on concrete and uneven surfaces while repeatedly lifting up to 50 lbs. throughout shift
- Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment several times per day
- Ability to climb portable and fixed ladders, occasionally working at heights above 10 ft.
- Comfortable working through extreme temperature changes from basketball/ice arena to outdoors in inclement weather, including exposure to bright lights, loud noise and dust
Time Commitment
- Non-traditional hours including weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Available to work an on-call 24/7 schedule (overnights, evenings, weekends and holidays) as needed
- Ability to work split shifts, late nights, overnight shifts and work at least 75% of games and concerts as required
