About the Position

Golden State is seeking a proactive and dedicated Manager to lead all aspects of the repair and maintenance for assigned Golden State properties including equipment, systems, and finishes. In this role, you will ensure that all facilities are maintained and presented in a world-class manner.  This position reports to the Senior Director, Engineering, Construction & Development.

This is a full-time position located onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee management of repair and maintenance for assigned Golden State properties
  • Manage company-wide use of Computerized Maintenance & Management System (CMMS), to include assisting in the continued establishment of key performance benchmarks, warranty tracking, and the scheduling of labor to close out work orders in a timely manner; manage preventative maintenance program within the CMMS platform
  • Assist in monitoring outside contractor personnel to ensure work is performed to job specifications and Golden State standards
  • Work with internal departments to ensure all new and current vendors have fully executed professional services agreements
  • Oversee all preventative maintenance and ensure work is completed under O&M specifications
  • Manage inventory and storage of attic stock interior finishes, furniture, and equipment for assigned Golden State properties
  • Ensure system for tracking interior finishes for each arena space is utilized and updated regularly
  • Manage facility and capital improvement projects, as assigned
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of operational problems, complaints, and emergency repairs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure a safe working environment for employees by following all Cal OSHA and local safety regulations, including a safe environment for guests and participants
  • Assist all internal departments, vendors, and clients as assigned
  • Partner with Golden State Thrive City Retail personnel for all engineering and maintenance needs for Thrive City retail tenants; work with Golden State Engineering Team to ensure all MEP requests from tenants are met and scheduled
  • Ensure all requirements for annual high rise fire safety inspection are met for assigned Golden State properties
  • Ensure all exterior art is properly maintained to artist, studio and museum specifications
  • Serve as the Manager on Duty for games and events, as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in an engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of facility operations and maintenance experience in a venue or large facility operations role, preferably in an entertainment environment
  • Experience managing union workforce
  • Strong working knowledge of MEPFP systems and construction management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to efficiently lead and prioritize multiple projects at once
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization

Time Commitment

  • Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, on-call status, and holidays as necessary

Compensation

  • $116,000 - 123,000 + Bonus
