As a People and Culture Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the incredible employees of the Utah Jazz, Delta Center, and Utah Mammoth. We’re looking for a detail-driven, highly organized professional who’s passionate about people and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll help keep our People & Culture team running smoothly and ensure our employees have an outstanding experience from day one.
This is a full-time, on-site position offering $25 to $28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a point of contact for general HR inquiries, escalating as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS and other HR systems, generating reports as needed
- Handle day-to-day HR administrative duties such as scanning files, printing badges, creating agendas and scheduling meetings
- Assist with policy communication, recordkeeping, and compliance tracking
- Maintain the accuracy of people records in HRIS, organization directories, and org charts
- Coordinate employee status changes, promotions, and internal transfers with appropriate parties
- Prepare employment verification letters, ad hoc reports, and other supporting documents
- Assist with employee recognition efforts, communications, and HR-related events
- Schedule and coordinate new hire orientation and internal training sessions
- Support the coordination of open enrollment, wellness programs, and benefit education sessions
- Coordinate and schedule HR-related meetings, team lunches, and traveling arrangements
- Update our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company intranet
- Assist with HR projects, audits, employee communications, and process improvements
- Support coordination of employee engagement, inclusion initiatives, and internal surveys
- Help streamline and improve HR workflows to drive consistency and efficiency
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of employee files in the G-Drive and HRIS
- Responsible for billing and expense reports for the People & Culture department

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 - 2 years of administrative or support experience
- 2 - 3 years of recruiting/HR experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in computer software applications such as Google Suite
- Ability to produce forms, documents and presentations
- Ability to quickly learn human resource information systems and similar computer applications
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency

- The person must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
