The Tournament has grown from a unique idea amongst friends to hosting some of the boldest sporting events in the world. In 2023, The Tournament unveiled The Soccer Tournament (TST), which exploded onto the scene, billing itself as Coachella for Soccer – part festival, part sporting event. Position Overview
The Soccer Tournament (TST) is hiring a Community Manager. This person will work with leadership to identify core TST fans and set up a structure whereby those fans will be consulted and rewarded all throughout the year. The Community Manager will also develop a program for participating teams, to identify and encourage participation from supporter’s groups.
Duties:
· Help architect and lead a new fan community program for TST
· Program will identify and honor those most loyal to the event, all year round
· Brainstorm with leadership on how to establish and grow the program
· Work with all members of the team to deliver benefits
· Build materials
· Create and manage a standard for communications with the community
· Model growth trajectory
Requirements & Qualifications
· People person
· Strong sense of authenticity
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work independently with a strong drive to succeed
· Interest in creativity, entrepreneurialism
· Interest in fan behavior and marketing
--HQ in Boston. Event in North Carolina. Position can be remote. Some travel required.
