Title: Ticket Sales and Service Intern, Stockton Kings
Department: Ticket Sales and Service

Job Summary:
The Ticket Sales and Services intern will be responsible for providing support to the ticket sales operations and partnerships team to assist in planning and executing season ticket member benefits and partnership activations. The individual will gain hands on experience and become an active member of the sales team by providing support in the sales operations process that includes game day event support, administering of ticket purchases, game day programming, client retention, client servicing, and added support for game day event fan experiences. The Stockton Kings are looking for an enthusiastic intern who has an “all hands on deck” mentality and is willing to engage with teammates and our fanbase to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Develops, enhances, and maintains relationships with season ticket account holders and group leaders with an emphasis on supporting activation of group leader and membership benefits.
Serve as the support contact for all season ticket member and group accounts.
Support planning and execution of exclusive STM events and group pregame experiences, including coordination with game entertainment, arena operations, and community relations teams.
Serve as a front-line ambassador on game days assisting with STM entrances, fan experience activations, group hospitality spaces, and managing group experiences such as halftime performances and fan tunnels included as benefits for group leaders.
Demonstrate poise, confidence, and the ability to communicate to corporations, groups, and individuals on behalf of the sales team.
Build long-lasting relationships with clients by staying engaged, through events, seat visits, check-ins, and more.
Establishes relationships with members and prospects via telephone inquiries and enhances those relationships through high level of service.
Plan and assist with team programs and special events.
Prospect new business opportunities with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to support the sales team and its sales/activation goals.
Maintain accurate records and customer data in Archtics and Salesforce CRM systems.
Work home games and VIP events, providing top-tier support and enhancing the group leader and member experience.
Actively participate in training, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with the team to create and pitch a new group theme night campaign or promotional night campaign, including concept development, partnership targets, activation strategy, and a mock outreach plan. Project will be presented at the end of the internship with the goal of implementing it during the season.
Work closely with the sales marketing team to help produce and update flyers, benefit one-pagers, and email templates for group leaders, theme nights, and special ticket offers.
Gain hands-on experience with Archtics, Salesforce, and Spinzo, helping process orders, fulfill ticket benefits, and troubleshoot basic customer issues.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
In progress or completed related major/degree required. Business or Communications degree preferred.
Applicable experience from internships, school athletic department, or school organizations preferred.
Must have strong writing and editing ability, as well as excellent communication skills.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize within a fast-paced team environment.
Must be highly motivated, goal oriented, and have a willingness to learn.
Ability to communicate and engage with internal clients and fans with a customer first attitude.
Ability to think creatively and have fun in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
Passion for creating memorable experiences.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, nights, and weekends.
Expectation to attend all Stockton Kings home games.
Reliable transportation between Sacramento and Stockton offices required.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more to assist in event setups and promotions.
To qualify for Kings University internships, you must be:
Currently enrolled in college or have graduated within 12 months
Able to commute to the downtown Stockton office
Able to work 25 hours per week
Interns will be compensated $16.50 per hour and receive benefits such as California Paid Sick Leave, discounts on Sacramento Kings merchandise, and free parking.
