Job Title: Sr. Director, Global Partnership Strategy & Solutions

Job Summary:
The Sacramento Kings are seeking a Senior Director, Partnership Strategy & Solutions to define what we sell, why it matters to partners, and how partnership value is built—before deals ever reach the market.
This role is the strategic engine of our global partnerships business. You will lead commercial strategy, campaign architecture, and partnership storytelling, translating data, market intelligence, and category strategy into scalable, high-impact partnership solutions. You’ll work closely with Sales leadership, Business Intelligence, and Creative Solutions to drive revenue growth, renewal success, and long-term partner value.
This role also serves as a leader in applied AI and analytics, leveraging modern tools to accelerate strategy development, improve decision-making, and create competitive advantage.
What You’ll Do:
Lead Commercial Strategy
- Own partnership commercial strategy across categories, properties, and markets.
- Develop category strategies, campaign frameworks, and annual partnership roadmaps.
- Architect integrated partnership campaigns with clear value propositions, KPIs, and success metrics.
- Define how partnership platforms scale across assets and markets.
Drive Renewals, Extensions & Enterprise Opportunities:
- Lead strategic planning for partnership renewals and multi-year extensions.
- Own renewal frameworks, including valuation logic, performance narratives, and upsell pathways.
- Partner with Sales leadership to identify renewal risks and growth opportunities.
- Lead strategy for enterprise RFPs and competitive partnership pursuits.
Apply AI & Analytics to Partnership Strategy:
- Leverage AI, LLMs, and advanced analytics to accelerate strategy development, campaign design, and renewal readiness.
- Use AI-enabled workflows to synthesize research, generate campaign frameworks, support valuation modeling, and identify performance patterns.
- Serve as a leader in responsible AI adoption, ensuring insights are accurate, ethical, and paired with strong human judgment.
Shape Partnership Storytelling & Solutions:
- Define the strategic narrative and business case behind all partnership proposals.
- Oversee Partnership Solutions leadership to ensure creative execution aligns with strategy and partner business objectives.
- Maintain high standards for proposal quality, consistency, and effectiveness.
Lead the Function:
- Build and lead a modern partnership strategy and solutions team.
- Establish scalable workflows, templates, and playbooks.
- Serve as a cross-functional leader across Sales, Activation, BI, Finance, Legal, and Marketing.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in partnership strategy, commercial strategy, sponsorship development, consulting, or related fields within sports, entertainment, media, or brand-driven organizations.
- Proven experience developing data-driven partnership strategies, category plans, campaign frameworks, and valuation logic.
- Strong analytical and strategic storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience using analytics, research, and sponsorship intelligence tools to inform commercial strategy.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI and LLMs to enhance research, proposal development, and strategic workflows.
- Ability to operate confidently in high-stakes, high-visibility commercial environments.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience within the NBA or major professional sports organizations.
- Background in management consulting, commercial strategy, or brand partnerships.
- Experience leading enterprise RFPs and multi-year partnership negotiations.

Compensation:
- Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
