Position Title: Social Impact & Inclusion Intern
Department: Social Impact & Inclusion
Reports to: Manager, Social Responsibility
FLSA: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Kings University starts October 2025, and runs through the 25-26 season!
Job Summary: You will play a crucial role in supporting the Social Impact & Inclusion department by assisting with community donation requests, email correspondence, general department admin work, merchandise/giveaway inventory, LIFT volunteer program, and other Social Impact initiatives and events. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to engage with various aspects of our operation and gain valuable experience in social responsibility initiatives.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Collaborate with the Social Impact team to solve challenges and implement initiatives.
Respond to community donation requests promptly and effectively.
Manage social media posting and planning.
Maintain an organized donations database.
Provide updates and recommendations to enhance our social responsibility efforts.
Contribute to planning activities for the 2025-26 season, including game nights, artist features, community group integration, concourse programming, and other events.
Attend off-site community events.
Assist with event setup and breakdown.
Lead the organization and maintenance of storage inventory.
Manage the database of Social Responsibility merchandise inventory for donations and giveaways.
Track and organize Social Responsibility Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Organize deliverables for the end-of-year impact report.

Qualifications:
Educational foundation in business administration, communications, sports, nonprofit sectors, or philanthropy is a plus.
Preferred proficiency in platforms: Excel, Canva, PowerPoint, Instagram
Capable of working flexible hours such as nights and weekends as needed.

To qualify for Kings University internships, you must be:
Currently enrolled in college or have graduated within 12 months
Able to commute to the downtown Sacramento office
Able to work up to 25 hours per week
Interns will be compensated $16.50 per hour and receive benefits such as California Paid Sick Leave, discounts on Sacramento Kings merchandise, and free parking.
