Job Summary:
The Partnership Marketing Specialist supports the execution, optimization, and growth of corporate partnerships by managing day-to-day partner needs, activating sponsorship assets, and contributing to innovative fan-first experiences. This role requires a balance of project management, creative problem-solving, and cross-departmental collaboration. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced sports and entertainment environment and is passionate about creating meaningful value for both partners and fans.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Account Management & Activation
Support daily partnership tasks including presentations (recaps and proposals), tracking season deliverables, and coordinating in-house activations.
Collaborate with internal teams (content, creative, social, legal, ticketing, business intelligence, social responsibility) to ensure effective and timely execution of assets.
Assist Partner Account Managers with activation planning and execution.
Serve as primary liaison with the Game Entertainment team to seamlessly integrate partner activations into game scripts, timeouts, and on-court programming.
Creative Development & Events
Create and support partnership proposals, PowerPoint and Canva decks, and post-event recaps.
Coordinate partnership marketing events, hospitality, and community activations, managing all logistics to ensure a premium experience.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and help generate fresh ideas for fan engagement and partner storytelling.
Research & Insights
Research and analyze national and Northern California media trends (TV, radio, print, digital), producing summary reports and insights.
Conduct prospect research, including company structures, brand positioning, marketing strategies, and key decision makers.
Support the development of data-driven partnership marketing strategies aligned with partner goals and audience behavior.
Operations & Administration
Assist the Sr. Director with budget reporting, purchase orders, and invoice processing, including management of department expense budgets.
Maintain accurate records and ensure deliverables are tracked and fulfilled.
Support special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
2+ years of professional work experience in corporate sponsorship, partnership activation, or sales (sports/entertainment industry experience strongly preferred).
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Canva; familiarity with Photoshop a plus.
Preferred experience with reporting/analytics tools such as Salesforce, KORE, Nielsen, Zoomph, or Tableau.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by events and game schedules.
Compensation:
The offer range for this full-time, exempt role is $45,000 - $50,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following:
