Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to support the sales, solutions, and activation teams on a wide variety of projects, including but not limited to, using data to strategize goals, prospecting new partners, and servicing current partners. The Global Partnership Solutions & Activation Intern will be highly organized, professional, team-focused, passionate, collaborative, positive and be able to think on their feet.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the planning and execution of integrated partnership activations across Sacramento Kings home games, Kings events, Community Initiatives & B2B

Assist with game night partnership activation, including sponsor hospitality, on-site execution, premium experiences, promotional elements, and fulfillment of contractual assets.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis on sponsorship trends across professional sports, entertainment, and adjacent industries to identify new and upsell partnership opportunities.

Assist with developing innovative activation concepts that leverage Kings platforms including Golden 1 Center, digital media, social channels, community programs, and special events.

Organize sales resources, proposal templates, case studies, and sponsorship collateral to improve efficiency across the Global Partnerships team.

Support cross-functional collaboration between Business Development, Partnership Activation, Marketing, and Strategy teams throughout the sales and activation process.
Qualifications:
-
An interest in gaining experience in corporate sponsorships and partnership activation, sales, and strategy

Must have in-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, LinkedIn, Canva, and Photoshop, as well as presentation and data visualization skills

Must have strong organizational skills and be highly resourceful.

Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and be service oriented, committed to teamwork and catering to clients

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and anticipate project needs.

Analytical mindset, with an ability to think critically and strategically.

Capable of working extended hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary

Experience with related tools such as Salesforce, Nielsen, Zoomph, KORE, ClearSlide, SponsorUnited and ZoomInfo is a plus

Currently enrolled in college or have graduated within 12 months

Able to commute to the downtown Sacramento office

Able to work up to 25 hours per week
