Title: E-Commerce Customer Service Associate 

Reports to: Director, E-Commerce Operations

Location: Downtown Sacramento, CA (E-Commerce Warehouse) 

FLSA: Part-Time, Non-Exempt 

Job Summary:

Sacramento Kings Retail Operations is seeking a detail-oriented eCommerce Customer Service Associate to provide exceptional customer support and assist with our Shopify Plus operations. This role combines customer service expertise with e-commerce coordination to ensure seamless customer experiences across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service

  • Manage customer inquiries through our CSR platform

  • Maintain brand voice in customer communications

  • Assist with developing response templates and training AI solutions

  • Develop automations, FAQ’s and chat bot responses that maintain brand voice in customer communications.

E-Commerce Support (Shopify Plus)

  • Update product listings, collections, and promotions

  • Manage shipping configurations and discount codes

  • Coordinate with internal teams for product launches and promotions

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work with Warehouse, Retail, and Marketing teams to resolve customer, product, and inventory issues

  • Identify and suggest improvements to customer experience

Systems Management

  • Use inventory management systems to track orders and inventory

  • Process shipping information through platforms like ShipStation

  • Ensure accurate data entry across all systems

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience

  • 1-2 years of E-Commerce experience (Shopify Plus preferred)

  • Experience with CSR platforms (Gorgias, Zendesk, or similar)

  • Knowledge of shipping and inventory systems a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

  • Problem-solving mindset

  • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude

Compensation:

  • $18.50 / hour
