Position Summary

The Sacramento Kings are seeking a driven, strategic, and relationship-focused Account Manager, Premium Sales to join our Premium Sales team. This individual will be responsible for generating new revenue through the sale of multi-year premium products, including courtside and club seat leases, suite leases, and other high-value hospitality offerings.

This role is focused on proactive prospecting, consultative selling, and cultivating executive-level relationships across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate thrives in a competitive environment, is motivated by exceeding goals, and serves as a strong ambassador of the Sacramento Kings brand. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing sales professional to grow their career in the sports and entertainment industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business revenue through the sale of multi-year premium courtside and club seat leases, multi-year suite leases, full-season memberships, and nightly suite rentals.
  • Execute a consistent, high-volume prospecting strategy including outbound calls, emails, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings.
  • Schedule and conduct face-to-face and virtual sales presentations with C-level executives, business owners, and key decision-makers.
  • Develop customized proposals and hospitality solutions that align with clients’ business objectives and entertainment needs.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and achieve or exceed defined activity metrics and annual revenue goals.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the Kings portfolio in collaboration with Premium Services and other internal departments.
  • Provide a first-class experience throughout the sales process, reflecting our “Everybody Sells and Everybody Services” mindset.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activity, pipeline management, and client communication in Archtics and Salesforce CRM systems.
  • Work home games and premium events to cultivate relationships, entertain prospects, and close business.
  • Participate in team trainings, sales meetings, and professional development opportunities to continually refine skills and strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless transition from sale to onboarding and long-term member experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, hospitality, or a Fortune 500 environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals and generating new business.
    Strong executive presence and ability to confidently present to C-level decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting, appointment setting, consultative selling, and closing high-value deals.
  • High level of professionalism, competitiveness, and personal accountability.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Archtics strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Passion for sports and commitment to delivering an elite premium experience.

 

Compensation:

Total Anticipated First-Year Earnings: $50,000–$100,000+, including base salary, commission, and bonus.

  • Base Salary: 50,000
  • Commission: Unlimited earning potential
  • Bonus: Eligible for a competitive team bonus pool
