Overview:
Perform custodial duties, which include, but are not limited to sweeping and mopping floors to include stripping & waxing, carpet cleaning. Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms, dressing rooms, cleaning glass surfaces, collecting and emptying trash receptacles.  This position will be located at the Phoenix Suns Performance Center.

What You Will Do:
  • Interact with internal departments to maintain day-to-day building cleanliness.
  • Perform custodial duties, which include, but not limited to sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining washrooms. Dressing rooms, access areas, cleaning glass surfaces, collecting and emptying garbage receptacles. Buffs, polishes, strips floors, carpet cleaning along with the use of heavy equipment.
  • Be responsive to needs of guests, vendors, and staff
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance

Additional Responsibilities/Non-Essential Duties:
  • Experience and knowledge in operation with current OSHA standards
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple projects and ability to read and understand event specifications
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance 

What We Need From Our Housekeeper:
  • Strong communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking ability
  • Highly organized and skilled with time management
  • Ability to function as part of a team
  • Ability to function independently
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all staff levels
  • Knowledge of how to maintain hard floors and carpet. Operation of floors scrubbers, and carpet extractors

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preference
  • Experience and knowledge in operation with current OSHA standards
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple projects and ability to read and understand event specifications           

What You Can Expect:
  •  Flexible work schedule to include weekends, evenings, overnight, some holidays and overtime to meet business needs.
  • Ability to bend, climb stairs and lift frequently.
  • Ability to continuously stand or walk.
  • Climb up onto and down from equipment.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to manipulate small hand cleaning tools
  • Capable of listening carefully and speaking on to others on the telephone/two-way radio
  • Ability to read, write & speak English
  • Indoor and outdoor work required
  • Works with Chemicals/Hazardous Materials
  • Ability to operate ride -on floor scrubbers
  • Ability to operate ride-on auto scrubber
