Facility Operations/Event Staff: Maintenance
 | SUMMARY
As the Assistant Property Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Property Managers with the repairs and maintenance of the Pistons areas within Little Caesar’s Arena and the Pistons Performance Center.
 
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
  • Reports to Property Manager
  • General repair and maintenance of PPC and Pistons areas at LCA 
  • Coordination of vendor and contractor visits to Little Caesar’s Arena
  • Point of contact for arena’s facilities & building services team at LCA
  • Landscaping and snow removal on property
  • Support tenant spaces as required or needed by direction of Property Manager
  • Assists with operation of BAS and Energy Management systems and all facility infrastructure
 
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 1 year of experience working at large facilities
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and travel between various properties
  • Must be detail oriented with ability to manage time efficiently
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills and a drive to improve yourself and those around you
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills combined with strong organizational skills with an addition to details and process
  • May be required to qualify for and obtain a forklift and/or a Pistons motor vehicle permit
  • Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, or tilt objects weighing up to 2500 lbs. with assistance
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (up to but not limited to eight hours)
  • Must have valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
  • Frequent need to utilize personal transportation to visit properties
