As an Environmental Services Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning at The Henry Ford Pistons Performance Center (PPC) and Little Caesars Arena (LCA) players locker room. This position is Part-time (20 hours a week) for Afternoon shifts of the following: 

Shift Times:
3pm - 11am; 5pm - 1am; 6pm - 2am

What you’ll be doing
  • Work under the direction of the EVS Supervisor, Manager, and team to maintain a sanitary environment in all areas at PPC and LCA Player locker room
  • Clean and disinfect all restroom surfaces including toilets, sinks, walls, doors, mirrors, floors. Restock paper products, soap, etc.
  • Empty all trash receptacles, replace liners, operate trash compactor
  • Perform daily clean of offices, conference rooms, and copy rooms following the Pistons EVS Standard Operating Procedures
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the PPC Practice courts, following a strict Standard Operating Procedure
  • Perform high-level daily cleaning and maintenance of PPC weight room, Player/Coaches locker rooms, Saunas, Steam room, and other specialty areas
  • Dust mop, sweep, mop, and/or run the auto-scrubber/vacuum on all floors
  • Stairwell and elevator cleaning, including high/low dusting, elevator tracks, polishing stainless steel walls
  • Ensure OSHA Industry standards are followed
  • Laundering linen onsite at PPC
  • Promote and exhibit The Detroit Pistons culture and core values
  • Assist with conversions tasks at PPC such as placing tables, chairs, court covering, etc.
  • Perform cleaning services and other tasks for events held at PPC
What we’re looking for
  • High school Diploma is preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Positive, upbeat attitude and ability to work under quick event timelines
  • Able to work sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, kneeling
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
