SUMMARY:
The Fever views their Group Sales team as the key to selling out games. We expect this position to have a basic understanding of ticket sales coming in.  We also expect this position to further develop their selling skills during their time with the Fever.  This position is responsible for generating group sales business by selling group tickets to individual games for the Indiana Fever and select other events at Bankers Life Fieldhouse to businesses, organizations and to the general public. This position will make phone calls, send emails and meet face-to-face with Fever group prospects to sell them group outings.  This position is expected to develop and manage relationships while providing exemplary customer service.  This position must utilize outstanding interpersonal, communication and time management skills to maximize results and their effectiveness with internal and external customers and prospects.  The majority of time will be spent actively selling on the phone, via email and in person but this position will also work various community and in-arena events along with all our Fever home games.






ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prospect or cold call for Group Ticket leads
    • Make 40-60 phone calls per day to group prospects with a focus on generating group revenue
  • Manage relationships of an existing book of business while prospecting for new sales
  • Be available to work all 18 Fever home games and other events as required (some nights & weekends)
  • Perform game day responsibilities, including: 
    • Executing in-arena experiences 
    • Assisting at Ticket Central 
    • Resolving guest ticket issues 
    • Visiting clients in their seats 
    • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or experience:  Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university and prior experience in sales, sports ticket sales preferred.

Other:  This is a full time position with compensation consisting of a salary plus commission.  Hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
