VP of Operations - Overtime Elite

Overtime is hiring a VP of Operations to join our team full-time. This role is integral to Overtime’s
continued success and growth as we disrupt the ecosystem of live sport experiences and
content from our owned and operated venue in downtown Atlanta.

What you’ll do:
  • Support the broader Arena strategy and create operational excellence including:
    • Identify areas to create and implement process improvement across the operations of our owned and operated venue
    • Operationalize and improve internal processes to create efficiencies
    • Lead the P&L responsibility for arena operations
    • Cultivate relationships with potential venue partners
  • Collaborate across the organization to maintain the master venue calendar, ensuring seamless integration of new live events with existing programming
  • Maintain internal communications forums, ensuring effective collaboration across departments
  • Working closely in support of Overtime's CEO, execute creative vision to ensure success of new projects and innovations
  • Work cross-functionally to implement cross-functional processes for Venue rentals, collaborations, vendors, and partnerships
  • Serve as liaison & manage relationships between Overtime & industry stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally with Overtime’s internal teams: event ops, facilities, security, content, academics and residential life, legal, finance, and others to ensure a seamless process for selection, negotiation, and activation of any new venue partnerships

Who you are:
  • 8+ years of experience in leading operations for live sports, arenas and venues, and/or owned and operated sports IP; or leading operational improvement in a cross-functional environment
  • A people leader who practices active listening and builds consensus around ideas and initiatives
  • Proven process-builder who can conceive, implement, and gain adoption for new processes and structure
  • An effective communicator across C-level leadership and team leaders to influence and create aligned vision
  • Experience leading complex negotiations to fruition
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and a proactive problem-solver
  • Down to hustle - this role can require regular nights and weekends.
