Project Manager, Basketball Operations
Overtime Elite seeks an exceptionally organized and driven project manager to join our staff in Atlanta. This unique opportunity will work at the intersection of all things Overtime Elite.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate project collaboration between all of our internal teams, especially between our Basketball, Events, Sales and Content teams
- Ensure existing processes are running smoothly and in line with common goals
- Work with Basketball, Training, Content and other key OTE stakeholders to document new processes and distribute to appropriate teams
- Create project timelines, budgets and decision trackers to maintain deadlines throughout project lifecycle and report status updates
- Manage stakeholder expectations with clear communication and next steps
- Assist with management of internal docs, like day to day calendars and player schedules
- Provide weekly email updates on all basketball related items to other OTE departments
- Build relationships with teammates and understand the organization; lead by bringing the team together and moving in one direction.
- Bring a team together and move them in one direction, aligning their personal goals with those of the organization
Who You Are:
- 3+ years in project or program management, strategy or operations
- Best in class organization and communication skills
- Active listener
- Comfortable wearing many hats, and bouncing between different projects from minute-to-minute
- Familiar with the league or sports operations landscape
- High emotional intelligence and gains trust from stakeholders
- Effectively balances responsibilities, handles conflicts and encourages communication on cross-functional projects
- A self-starter, always looking for people and projects that could use a helping hand
- Attention-to-detail
This is a fully onsite role based in Atlanta out of our Overtime Elite arena in Atlantic Station.
