The Dallas Wings are seeking a seasonal ticket sales intern that has a strong passion for gaining ticket sales and service experience for a professional sports team. The Ticket Sales  Intern will work hand-in-hand with the ticket sales team and report to the Sr. Director of New Business Development.  Your time with the Dallas Wings will afford you real world experiences that will build the skills and knowledge required to succeed at selling in the sports industry! This internship will focus on client-facing opportunities on game days and grassroots sales efforts.

Areas you will be learning about:
  • Learn about the ticket sales process and prospecting new leads 
  • Learn about day-to-day ticket operations
  • Gain practical game day experience working directly with our fans 
  • Learn how to utilize ticketing system
Learning Opportunities:
  • Prospect potential season ticket holder opportunities and groups outings
  • Collecting data and organizing new leads for group sales initiatives 
  • Shadow and assist with setting up the Box Office 
  • Participate in community events geared towards sales and lead generation
  • Shadow and assist the sales department in day-to-day ticket operations
  • Observe and practice in fan experiences and ticket sales game day operations 
  • Observe and practice clients and providing customer service
  • Will receive training in sales, service and all other day to day activities to prepare for actual sales opportunities
 Minimum Requirements: 
  • Ability to work non-traditional and long hours including evening and weekends
  • Students must be currently enrolled at an accredited university; in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
