The Manager of Inside Sales will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a team of Inside Sales Representatives focused on generating new business revenue through outbound prospecting, lead generation, group ticket sales, memberships, and premium seating opportunities. In addition to managing and coaching the team, the Manager of Inside Sales will maintain an individual sales goal and actively generate revenue with a focus on B2B sales and club seating. This individual will build relationships with corporate decision-makers, local businesses, and community leaders while helping establish the Wings as a premier entertainment destination in Downtown Dallas. 
 
The ideal candidate is a passionate sales leader with a proven ability to develop talent, implement effective sales processes, and drive revenue through both leadership and personal sales production. This is a unique opportunity to help build the future of the Dallas Wings ticket sales organization while contributing directly to the continued growth of the WNBA and women's professional sports. 
    
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:   
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of Inside Sales Representatives focused on generating new business revenue * 
  • Build and manage the organization's Inside Sales Program, establishing clear performance expectations, career development plans, and sales benchmarks * 
  • Coach and mentor sales representatives through regular training sessions, call evaluations, role-playing, and one-on-one development meetings * 
  • Monitor daily sales activities, including outbound calls, appointments set, meetings conducted, pipeline management, and revenue generation * 
  • Collaborate with Manage of New Business Development to develop and implement prospecting strategies and campaigns that drive revenue primarily through season ticket and partial plan sales * 
  • Work alongside Group Sales Manager to identify key campaigns and theme nights to train Inside Sales Team to sell throughout the season * 
  • Create and execute onboarding programs designed to accelerate the success of new sales representatives * 
  • Partner with Ticket Sales leadership to identify future Account Executives and develop internal talent pipelines * 
  • Manage lead distribution, sales campaigns, CRM usage, and reporting to maximize sales effectiveness * 
  • Track and analyze individual and team performance metrics, providing actionable feedback and recommendations for improvement * 
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Community Relations, and Partnerships departments to create lead generation opportunities and promotional initiatives * 
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, activity reports, and pipeline analysis * 
  • Assist with game-day sales initiatives, prospect entertainment, and fan engagement opportunities * 
  • Serve as a sales leader and role model by maintaining personal sales activity and contributing to department revenue goals * 
  • Support department-wide initiatives 
  • Other duties may be assigned 
 
Game Day Duties/Responsibilities:  
  • Assist in managing fan experiences and sales tables 
  • Providing customer service to clients, members and fans 
  • Prolonged standing, walking, and extended work hours. 
  • Must be available to attend all home games for Dallas Wings, as well as attend most community events.  Games & events may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Job Requirements:   
  • Formal Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Relevant Work Experience:   
    • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in ticket sales, sports sales, or related sales experience required 
    • Previous experience managing, mentoring, or training sales representatives preferred 
    • Demonstrated success generating new business revenue through outbound sales efforts 
    • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platform preferred 
    • Professional sports or entertainment industry experience preferred 
  • Work Location & Hours: Work is performed in the community, office and/or at one of the arenas as determined necessary by the Company.  Must be available to attend all home games for Dallas Wings, as well as attend company events.  Games & events may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Physical Requirements 
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer 
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.  
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking 
  • Hearing, seeing, reading, writing, concentration, comprehension, and talking with clear speech. 
  • Planning, organizing, interpreting data, making decisions, problem-solving, and composure under deadlines/stress.
