Job Purpose: The IT Manager is responsible for managing all technology systems, technology vendor relationships, and support for the business office, training facility, and arena game-day operations. This includes overseeing infrastructure for internal business systems, broadcast technology, team bench technology, cybersecurity, and documentation. This role ensures secure, reliable, and innovative IT solutions that optimize operations and overall efficiency. 
 
Primary Duties / Responsibilities 
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, including network security, software systems, venue technology, and digital platforms. * 
  • Assist overall technology strategy and implementation to support game-day operations, business systems, fan engagement, and e-commerce platforms. * 
  • Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and specialized technology solutions, system reliability, cybersecurity, and scalability. * 
  • Help manage inventory, organization, and execution of company technology assets. 
  • Implement robust security protocols to protect financial transactions and fan information. * 
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance fan engagement and operational efficiency. 
  • Ensure compliance with league regulations and data privacy laws. * 
  • Assist in standard operating procedures and documentation of best practices. 
  • Act as the point person for any issues related to business office equipment, IT, and general troubleshooting. * 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
 
Game Day Duties/Responsibilities:  
  • Provide IT support during game days, press conferences, and live broadcasts. * 
  • Coordinate with media partners, league, arena, and broadcast partners for venue technology requirements. * 
  • Prolonged standing, walking and extended work hours.

Job Requirements:   
  • Formal Education & Relevant Work Experience:   
    • Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred). 
    • 5+ years of IT management experience. 
    • Expertise in networking, cloud systems, and cybersecurity. 
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems, broadcast technology, and arena operations. 
    • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP are a plus. 
  • Work Location & Hours: Work is performed in the office and/or at one of the arenas as determined necessary by the Company. Must be available to attend all home games for both Dallas Wings, as well as attend company events. Games & events may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.*

Physical Requirements* 
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, walking and extended work hours. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.  
  • Hearing, seeing, reading, writing, concentration, comprehension, and talking with clear speech. 
  • Planning, organizing, interpreting data, making decisions, problem-solving, and composure under deadlines/stress.
