Game Presentation Intern:

The Game Presentation Intern for the Dallas Wings and Panther City Lacrosse Club will assist the Director of Game Presentation and Live Events to execute successful game operations, in-game entertainment, and production elements for both teams.

Each game takes weeks of preparation involving every department of our team. As the game presentation intern, you will be expected to contribute to generating engaging ideas, planning our show for our fans and executing it on game days.

Internships are available only to persons who will be able to receive college or graduate level credit for their work. Internship can be performed from a remote capacity.

Internship Requirements:

Must be currently enrolled in university/college
Minimum of 10 hours per week, not to exceed 24 hours per week
Must have own computer
Must be present in-office. Remote work is not permitted

Areas you will be learning about:

Seamless game-day and live event execution
Learn about the game-day experience planning and execution
Assistance with oversight and game-day coordination of an in-game promotional team
Learn how to secure talent for halftime shows and post-game events
Learn about ordering giveaways and maintaining a budget
Assistance in inventory and organization of sponsorship assets and activations
Coordination, set-up and operations of professional lacrosse and basketball games

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Director of Game Presentation and Live Events to plan and execute successful game presentation at all of the games
Manage projects of various scale from beginning to end
Process purchase orders, quotes and vendor invoices
Create task sheets for event operations, script-writing and production schedules
Assist in coordinating all promotions, pre-game, halftime and post-game activities
Help execute theme night and promotional nights
Oversee and help coordinate promotional team on gamedays
Prepare the arenas to make sure it is ready and looking presentable each day
Assist with the execution of game week and game day operations elements
Manage day-to-day needs of the Director of Game Presentation & Live Events staff and complete general office tasks
Ability to produce great work results through organization, integrity, effective communication and proactive problem solving.
Focus on small details and accuracy in a fast-paced changing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
