Game Presentation Intern:
The Dallas Wings are seeking a Game Presentation Intern. The Game Presentation Intern will assist the Senior Director and Coordinator of Game Presentation and Live Events to execute successful game operations, in-game entertainment, and production elements.

Each game takes weeks of preparation involving every department of our team. As the game presentation intern, you will be expected to contribute to generating ideas on how to engage our fans, planning our show for our fans and executing it on game days.

Areas you will be learning about: 
  • Seamless game-day and live event execution
  • Assistance with oversight and game-day coordination of an in-game promotional team
  • Coordination, set-up, and operations of professional basketball games
  • Learn how to secure talent for pre-game performances, halftime shows, and post-game events 
  • Assistance in inventory and organization of sponsorship assets and activations 

Learning Opportunities: 
  • Work closely with the Senior Director and Coordinator of Game Presentation and Live Events to plan and execute successful game presentation at all of the games
  • Create task sheets for event operations, scriptwriting and production schedules
  • Assist in coordinating all promotions, pre-game, halftime and post-game activities
  • Opportunity to stage manage operations of professional basketball games 
  • Manage day-to-day needs of the Senior Director and Coordinator of Game Presentation & Live Events staff and complete general office tasks
  • Focus on small details and accuracy in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability and desire to engage with fans
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience
  • Marketing or sports background

Minimum Requirements: 
  • Ability to work non-traditional and long hours including evening and weekends
  • Students must be currently enrolled at an accredited university; in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
