Position Summary
The Director, Business Intelligence & CRM will run point on CRM & Data Analytics and is uniquely positioned to play a critical role in the strategic development and execution of our CRM system including campaign management, workflows/optimization, and data visualizations. This role will have a direct impact on the CRM strategy and success in building and enhancing our relationship with our ticket holders & sponsors, driving the success of our sales & service teams, as well as providing data visualizations allowing the organization to exercise data driven decision making. This position will be responsible for multiple concurrent projects under the supervision of the EVP & Chief Strategy Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
  • Opportunity to build a Business Intelligence department from the ground up over time and as budget & resources allow
  • Maintain a clean and updated database of buyers, leads, and other important contacts for Dallas Wings & Panther City Lacrosse Club. 
  • Assist in training sales & service staff in CRM and ensuring that records are being updated and accurately in a timely manner.
  • Create and develop reports and dashboards for data visualizations to support the day-to day needs of the organization and improve sales efficiencies.
  • Maintain and improve workflow rules and business logic.
  • Support day-to-day administration tasks of CRM platform (platform integrations, lead distribution, workflows, reporting).
  • Aid in the creation and maintenance of compelling lead-generation campaigns to engage our customer base.
  • Query and build target audiences for email marketing efforts and assist in email testing strategy.
  • Ensure that integration is supported, and data remains consistent across all platforms and databases.
  • Maintain database performance by troubleshooting problems, as well as proactively seeking out issues that may arise in the future.
  • Assist with data capture initiatives including online forms, surveys, digital initiatives, and text message campaigns.
  • Assist with building out strategies for gathering new leads based on measured successes from ongoing campaigns.
  • Assist in completing established business analytics projects including trend analysis, forecasting, modeling and performance tracking for program categories and overall department performance. 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  
  • Formal Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Relevant Work Experience: 
    • Minimum of 2 years in ticket operations in a professional sports team preferred 
    • Proficient in Tableau and Sales Force preferred 
    • Experience managing marketing automation workflows preferred 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail accuracy. 
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SAS, R etc.)
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings 
  • Ability to apply theoretical or experiential knowledge on predictive modeling to identify large scale business problems and opportunities. 
  • Understand the sources of data that feed into our CRM system and recommend how best to collect, organize, and use this data to maximize revenue and fan engagement.
  • This role is expected to attend and provide service at ALL home games for both Dallas Wings & Panther City Lacrosse Club.
