2026 Corporate Partnerships Paid Internship

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals pursuing a career in sports sponsorship, marketing, and business development to join the Chicago Sky Corporate Partnerships team as a paid intern. This role provides hands-on experience across both partnership sales and activation, offering a comprehensive look into how brand partnerships are developed, executed, and measured within a professional sports organization.

Throughout the 2026 season, interns will play a key role in supporting partnership initiatives from game-day execution to behind-the-scenes strategy. You will gain exposure to key areas such as asset valuation, client service, sponsorship fulfillment, and new business development, while working directly with partners and internal stakeholders.

Location:
The Chicago Sky corporate office is located at McCormick Place (2301 S. DuSable Lakeshore Drive, Chicago, IL 60616)

The Chicago Sky play home games at Wintrust Arena (200 E. Cermak Rd, Chicago, IL 60616) and the United Center (1901 W. Madison Street, Chicago, IL 60612)

Start/End Date:
May – September 2026

Available Positions:
Five (5)

Compensation:
Paid, hourly position ($16.60/hour or current Chicago minimum wage)

Time Commitment:
Up to 30 hours per week

Summer Commitment:
Interns are expected to attend and work all home games from May through September (including playoffs, if applicable), in addition to one in-office day per week. This role requires flexibility, including evenings and weekends. If there are any known scheduling conflicts (e.g., return to school), please note them in your application.

What You’ll Do:
  •  Execute game-day partnership activations, including on-court promotions and LED signage operations 
  •  Capture proof of performance and assist in documenting partner deliverables 
  •  Support concourse activations, including setup, breakdown, and ongoing management 
  •  Prepare and distribute promotional materials and giveaways
  •  Assist with partner hospitality, including check-in, credentialing, and guest services 
  •  Build partnership recap decks and sales materials
  •  Support prospecting and outreach efforts for new business opportunities 
  •  Assist in event planning and execution for sponsored initiatives (in-arena and offsite) 
  •  Participate in grassroots marketing efforts and community activations (e.g., clinics) 
  •  Maintain organization of storage and inventory areas
  •  Provide general administrative and operational support as needed

  •  Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
