About the Atlanta Dream
The Atlanta Dream is a WNBA team based in Atlanta, Georgia. 2026 marks our 19th year in the league and our fifth year with new ownership, new leadership, and a commitment to building the best franchise in the WNBA. Position Purpose
The Atlanta Dream Team Photographer & Videographer is responsible for documenting the Atlanta Dream season and stories through photography and videography, capturing the emotion, intensity, energy, and personality of the team on and off the court, with a concentrated focus on basketball-specific content capture and creation. This role will be embedded with the basketball team, responsible for attending all practices, games (home and away) and being the primary documentarian of the team.
Key Responsibilities
Photography
●      Capture high-quality game, training, and lifestyle photography that showcases players, fans and the Dream’s identity.
●      Shoot photography on court for all Atlanta Dream home and away games, with a creative and intentional eye that tells the story of the game through player performances.
●      Capture photos at Atlanta Dream practices and in accordance with social strategy and archival plan.
●      Produce photography that fulfills WNBA, team and sponsor requirements across digital and commercial platforms.

Videography
●      Shoot video on court for all Atlanta Dream home and away games to tell the story of the game in accordance with the social strategy for game coverage. 
●      Shoot video content at Atlanta Dream practices and in accordance with social strategy and archival plan.

Storytelling
●      Tell the story of the Atlanta Dream season - documenting games, practices, travel, downtime, and team experiences from training camp through the end of playoffs. 
●      Capture authentic and personality moments on and off the court that showcase the team’s story, players, and team culture through photography and video.
●      Focus on documenting behind-the-scenes moments at practices, team activities, off days, etc.
●      Lead content planning and execution of visual coverage for major basketball moments such as Free Agency, WNBA Draft, League Awards, Offseason Leagues, and big games.
●      Support special brand content projects as assigned and only when needed, including brand campaigns, schedule release, playoff campaigns, and other player/team focused marketing initiatives.
●      Partner with social team and BI team to understand what types of photo and video basketball content is performing well on social channels to inform future plans. 
●      Stay up to date on trends in sports, social and content space and bring new ideas to the table to enhance Dream’s content planning for showcasing basketball content.

Operations
●      Maintain and manage the Dream video archive and photo archive, ensuring proper organization, naming, and distribution.
●      Manage and maintain all photo/video equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and storage media; recommend upgrades as needed
Cross Functional Collaboration
●      Uphold professionalism, reliability, and strong communication when working with players, basketball staff and partners while being able to operate independently in high-pressure environments. 
Qualifications
●      Minimum 4+ years of experience working with a professional or collegiate sports team.
●      Must be available to travel to all away games and attend every home game during the Atlanta Dream’s 2026 season.
●      Advanced knowledge of HD cameras, photography, videography, and creative lighting techniques.
●      Storytelling portfolio that showcases both photography and videography skills.
●      Ability to capture, edit, and deliver content in real time while managing long-term projects.
●      Strong understanding of current social media and visual content trends.
●      Excellent communication and collaboration skills with players, coaches, and staff.
●      Comfortable working under tight deadlines with a disciplined, team-first mindset.
