About the Atlanta Dream
The Atlanta Dream is a WNBA team based in Atlanta, Georgia. This year marks our 18th year in the league, and 2025 is our fourth year with new ownership, new leadership, and a commitment to building the best franchise in the WNBA. We celebrate diversity, represent Atlanta, reward innovation and imagination and aim to empower women both on and off the court.
Position Purpose
We’re looking for a dynamic, data-driven Social Media Manager to lead our daily digital storytelling, grow engagement, and own social channel execution for the Atlanta Dream. You will drive content ideation and strategy across all social channels, coordinate game day coverage, support partnerships, and help build the overarching content strategy to position the Dream as a cultural force, not just a sports team. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, creative, partnerships, ticketing, community and players.
We compete on the court and in culture, telling stories that resonate deeply with our fans and beyond. We are seeking a passionate, creative Social Media Manager who can help amplify our voice, grow our fanbase, and execute best-in-class content that reflects who we are and deeply engages with our audiences, leaning into what our audiences care most about. This person is a data-driven strategic at heart with a passion for storytelling.

●      Drive influencer strategy within larger campaigns by identifying potential partners, coordinating collaborations, and ensuring social content ties seamlessly into overall campaign strategy.

Game Day, Practice, Event Coverage & Team Travel
●      Plan, produce, and execute real-time game day social content for all home and away games and other Dream events as necessary.
●      Attend Dream practices to shoot and create content when applicable.
●      Be present for  all home games and  travel for up to 20% of away games throughout the season.

Partnerships & Sponsorships

●      Collaborate with the partnerships/sponsorship team to execute and deliver on sponsored content obligations.
●      Ideate and manage partner content series, shot lists, briefs, approvals, and delivery deadlines.
●      Ensure content meets partner standards and is amplified properly across channels.

Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
●      Lead analytics efforts across all social platforms - including growth, engagement, audience behavior, sentiment, and content performance.
●      Translate raw data into actionable insights and weekly/monthly reporting in partnership with the Business Insights team.
