About the Atlanta Dream
The Atlanta Dream is a WNBA team based in Atlanta, Georgia. 2026 marks our 19th year in the league and our fifth year with new ownership, new leadership, and a commitment to building the best franchise in the WNBA. We celebrate diversity, represent Atlanta, reward innovation and imagination and aim to empower women both on and off the court.

Position Purpose
The Atlanta Dream isn’t just a basketball team - we’re a platform for stories, culture, and community. We desire to create compelling content that resonates on and off the court. We’re seeking a Senior Content Producer to lead the creative execution of video, photo, and multimedia storytelling for Atlanta Dream brand content that elevates our brand, connects with fans, and supports growth goals.
As Senior Content Producer, you will be the creative engine behind the Dream’s brand content - ideating, producing, editing, and distributing high-end visual and narrative work. You will lead content production across formats (video, photo, short-form social, long-form storytelling), collaborate with internal teams and partners, and elevate the visual voice of the brand. You’ll work closely with social, marketing, creative, partnerships, and basketball operations.

Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Ideation
●      Lead ideation sessions and creative concepting across campaigns, seasonal content, player stories, behind-the-scenes, and brand initiatives.
●      Translate campaign objectives into content strategies, story arcs, formats, and delivery plans.
●      Stay ahead of trends in sports, entertainment, and digital storytelling and propose new formats (e.g. episodic series, docu-style, interactive media, etc.)
●      Partner with Social Media Team to ensure alignment between content ideation and content strategy; ensuring that all brainstorms and ideas ladder into overarching content strategy that ladders back to our audience insights.

Video Production + Post Production

●      Produce high-quality content (short-form, series, long-form) optimized for web and social platforms.
●      Direct shoots (in-studio, on-court, B-roll) with minimal crew
●      Manage video partners and contractors; ensure deliverables meet brand and technical standards.
●      Lead in-house editing for majority of projects but also work with external partners for larger campaigns
●      Adapt long-form content into short-form social versions (Reels, TikToks, Instagram Stories, etc.).
●      Influence and enforce file naming and archive standards.

Cross-functional Collaboration
●      Work closely with Social Media Manager and Basketball Operations to ensure content supports broader goals
●      Partner with Social Team to plan and execute all game day deliverables, ensuring coverage is aligned across content capture, social publishing, and team storytelling.
●      Execute on partnership content deliverables — from ideation and pre-production through final delivery — in collaboration with the Social, Partnerships, and Marketing teams.
●      Integrate content calendars, campaign plans, and promotional needs into production workflows.
●      Serve as a creative partner & advisor across departments.

Leadership
●      Manage production calendars and prioritize projects based on impact and resources.
●      Oversee vendor/freelancer contracts, scopes of work, and deliverable timelines.
●      Provide creative and technical guidance to junior producers, editors, interns, and external collaborators.
●      Help grow the content team’s skills, processes, and capabilities.
●      Serve as the point person on creative standards, workflows, and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements
●      6+ years of experience in video/film/creative content production, preferably in sports, entertainment, or media sectors.
●      Proven portfolio of high-quality video, photo, and multimedia content (social + long form).
●      Strong storytelling instincts, creative vision, and ability to bring ideas to life.
●      Solid technical expertise in editing tools (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.), sound, and color correction.
●      Experience directing, shooting (camera + lighting), and supervising production crews/freelancers.
●      Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments (game days, events, breaking news).
●      Excellent project management, scheduling, budgeting, and organizational skills.
●      Experience collaborating across functions (marketing, social, partnerships, creative).
●      Ability to travel and work evenings, weekends, and game nights.
●      Passion for sports (especially basketball/WNBA), storytelling, and digital media trends.
