The Atlanta Dream is a WNBA team based in Atlanta, Georgia. This year marks our 18th year in

Position Purpose
The Atlanta Dream is seeking a passionate and creative Manager of Fan & Brand Experiences to lead the development and execution of activations that grow our fan base and deepen community connection. This role sits at the intersection of culture, creativity, and experience, bringing the Atlanta Dream to life through immersive moments both outside the arena (watch parties, festivals, brand pop-ups, community events) and inside the arena (halftime performances, theme nights, giveaways, fan zones). This role will report to the Sr. Director, Brand & Creative.

This position will play a pivotal role in shaping how fans experience the Dream brand—building meaningful connections that turn casual fans into loyal supporters.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Fan & Brand Activation
  • Utilize Dream fan insights to recommend relevant events, experiences, and locations that the Dream needs to show up in to drive meaningful fan growth. 
  • Lead the concepting and execution of non-gameday fan experiences across Atlanta (watch parties, grassroots marketing activations, pop ups, etc.) to increase awareness and drive engagement with Dream fans and potential new Dream fans.
  • Identify local trends, cultural moments, and community touchpoints that align with the Dream brand and Atlanta culture that ladder into key insights we have about our target audiences.
  • Work closely with Brand & Creative, Partnerships, Business Intelligence, and Community Impact teams  to ensure all activations deliver cohesive brand storytelling and measurable impact.
  • Measure Fan Growth From Initiatives - Track attendance, engagement, and conversion from all activations across database growth, social following, ticket and retail sales. 
In-Arena Experience & Game Presentation
  • Work closely with Sr. Director of Brand & Creative to recommend relevant gameday entertainment and activations that ladder into the Dream brand, drive deeper engagement with our fans and authentically feel like Atlanta.
  • Coordinate with and manage entertainment partners, agencies, and artists to deliver memorable halftime performances and in-game activations and experiences.
  • Work closely with Sr. Director of Brand & Creative to drive strategy for Theme Nights, prioritizing both fan growth & engagement where relevant.
  • Oversee all in-game giveaways, fan engagement activations, and theme nights that align with key marketing priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ideate new ways to elevate the fan journey, from arrival to post-game, ensuring the Dream atmosphere reflects the energy and culture of Atlanta.
  • Work closely with the Director of Business Intelligence to create post-game and post-event surveys to evaluate how different types of experiences and activations are resonating with fans and use this data to inform future strategy decisions.
Community Integration & Brand Presence
  • Cultivate relationships with Atlanta-based brands, small businesses, and cultural organizations to expand the Dream’s footprint across the city.
  • Manage logistics and planning for pop-up events, mobile experiences, and retail collaborations in partnerships with Retail Operations Coordinator (when relevant).
  • Serve as the on-site lead for all fan events and key Brand Experience activations, ensuring seamless production and strong brand representation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience in fan experience, event marketing, experiential activations, or integrated marketing roles, preferably within sports, entertainment, or a consumer-facing brand.
  • Strong attention to detail with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across diverse teams.
  • A creative problem-solver with a passion for delivering experiences that connect culture, sport, and community.
  • Understanding of Atlanta’s cultural landscape, including music, fashion, sports, and community movements.
  • Passion for women's sports and alignment with the Atlanta Dream's mission and values.
