Position Purpose
The Atlanta Dream is seeking a motivated Growth Marketing Intern to support our next phase of fan acquisition and revenue growth. This role will work closely with the Senior Manager, Growth Marketing to execute and analyze marketing campaigns that drive awareness, ticket sales, e-commerce revenue, and long-term fan engagement.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in paid media, email/SMS marketing, website management, audience segmentation, and campaign reporting—while contributing directly to strategies that shape the future of the Atlanta Dream’s fan base. This position is perfect for a self-starter with a passion for sports marketing, data-driven decision-making, and digital storytelling.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
●     Assist in setting up, launching, and monitoring paid digital marketing campaigns (paid social, paid search, display) to drive ticket sales and fan engagement.
●     Support the execution of email and SMS marketing campaigns, including copywriting, scheduling, audience targeting, and performance tracking.
●     Help maintain and update website content, ensuring accurate and engaging fan-facing information.
●     Assist in tracking and organizing marketing performance data, compiling routine reports with key metrics and insights.
●     Collaborate with the content and creative teams to ensure campaign materials align with brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences.
●     Provide administrative support, including summarization of insights, organizing assets, and preparing presentations for leadership review.

Required Education, Experience, Traits and Skills
●     Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sports Management, or related field.
●     Interest in digital marketing trends, fan engagement strategies, and the sports industry.
●     Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
●     Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet deadlines.
●     Comfort with organizing and analyzing data via Excel/Google Sheets.
●     Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
●     Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and all Atlanta Dream home games during the internship period.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)
●     Experience with paid media platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, etc.) or email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Braze, Klaviyo, etc.).
●     Familiarity with analytics or data visualization tools (Google Analytics, Power BI).
●     Exposure to HTML/CSS or website content management systems (WordPress, Squarespace, etc.).
●     Experience creating social or digital content (graphics, video, copywriting).
