Job Title: Production Runner
Class: Part-Time, Hourly
Pay:
 If you own a SUV or minivan: $22.00 per Hour
 If you will be renting a SUV or minivan: $20.00 per Hour
Reports to: Production Manager
Location: Arena and Entertainment District

Summary:
This is a part-time event-based position that will be responsible for a variety of duties associated with transportation and coordinating errands both on and off-site with venue and touring personnel throughout the event day.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow company protocol and operating procedures as communicated by venue management
  • Provide transportation for touring and venue personnel throughout the show day, such as hotel and airport pickups and drop offs using either personal car or company-provided vehicle.
  • Run errands such as laundry, grocery shopping, package delivery, equipment rentals, coffee runs, etc.
  • Coordinate large take-out orders with local restaurants, purchasing, retrieving, and distributing to touring personnel.
  • Coordinate large shopping lists from local grocery stores for pick up.
  • Maintain cash, receipts and settling towards the end of your shift.
  • Provide local area information to touring staff.
  • Pick up and drop off company-rented 15-passenger and cargo vans.
  • Light administrative duties such as making copies, posting signs and cash reconciliation.
  • Access to a personal vehicle and smartphone with GPS and browser capabilities.
  • Assist the production team to complete the agreed-upon specific needs and requests of the artists and crew
  • All other duties as assigned

Confidentiality is very critical to the role

Qualifications:
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to use a personal vehicle and have proof of insurance
  • Background check required
  • Clean driving record and safe driving habits
  • Knowledge of city and surrounding areas including restaurants and local stores
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems using sound decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess leadership skills based on teamwork
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work a long day (typical show day runs about 16 to 18 hours)
  • Punctuality and reliability are a must to maintain this position
  • Access to a smartphone with GPS and browser capabilities and car charger.
  • Larger Personal vehicle, SUV or minivan is a plus but not required.
