Summary:
The Milwaukee Bucks are seeking an experienced and creative Marketing Project Manager to serve as the hub for marketing projects. This role will work closely with partnerships, sales, digital and other departments as needed to manage project workflow and partner on creative development. This role requires a talented multi-faceted marketing professional who is highly organized, detailed-oriented, and a team player. The individual must thrive in a fast-moving and changing environment and embrace clear, timeline-driven communication. Candidates with strong relationship-building skills and an understanding of the sports + entertainment industry are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise marketing projects requested by internal departments including, but not limited to, website updates, digital campaigns, ticketing efforts, team tentpole initiatives (i.e. tipoff week, Playoffs, All-Star voting), partnership support, large scale activations and more.
- Lead project planning including defining stakeholders, scope, deliverables, dependencies, resource needs, key milestones, sprints and critical paths.
- Oversee the initial brainstorming and research phase, straight through implementation or production, and on to debriefing, retrospective and reporting. Provide strategic marketing recommendations and tactical support (including copy writing, media recommendations, overarching strategy) as necessitated by project scope.
- Collaborate with the broader brand marketing group and across internal departments to ensure project deliverables are met. Manage external vendor relationships as necessary to support project goals.
- Lead communication of timelines, status updates, and potential risks to the project team and stakeholders leveraging the appropriate communication platforms and methods. Report on project plans/status and manage expectations accordingly.
- Map out and implement information flow, reporting and communications structures to ensure project alignment, timeliness and responsiveness across internal teams.
- Mentor, coach and develop department team members.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 6+ years of combined experience in project management and marketing roles.
- Experience supporting projects for a marketing team with multiple stakeholders. Ability to multitask and work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge and/or training focused on special events, digital marketing, copywriting and marketing strategy.
- Ability to remain focused on tactical execution, set clear expectations, highlight misalignment, and have critical conversations.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to communicate difficult messages in a clear and kind manner.
- Ability to interface and collaborate across internal departments with all levels of management. Comfort presenting in front of senior leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and passion for team collaboration.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
