Position Overview
The Milwaukee Bucks seeks a dynamic and driven Community Impact Manager Manager to lead the development, execution, and growth of signature fundraising programs and events that power our mission to improve the wellbeing of underserved communities in Wisconsin. This role will manage and scale existing events like the 50/50 Raffle, Golf Outing, Sixth Man Soirée, and Community Impact Week, while also identifying and launching new fundraising opportunities that align with our strategic and financial plan. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented project manager, a creative fundraiser, and a relationship-builder.
Responsibilities:
- Fundraising Event Leadership including:
- Lead planning, logistics, execution, and post-event evaluation for MBF's core fundraising events and programs:
- 50/50 Raffle (in-season game-night operations)
- Golf Outing
- Sixth Man Soirée
- Community Impact Week (annual community activation and giving campaign)
- Manage event budgets, timelines, vendor relationships, and staffing in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Monitor and report on KPIs of each program and event.
- Support in development and execution of Social Responsibility programs
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop assets and messaging for events and fundraising initiatives.
- Be responsible for all aspects of the 50/50 Raffle program during Bucks home games, including staffing, training, and in-game operations to ensure smooth execution and compliance with gaming regulations
- Develop new revenue-generating ideas to diversify MBF’s fundraising portfolio (e.g., community challenges, digital campaigns, peer-to-peer giving, intimate events).
- Maintain detailed project plans, fundraising databases, and sponsorship tracking.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in event planning, nonprofit fundraising, or program management.
- Proven success in executing high-quality events and campaigns that drive revenue and visibility.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills; ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including donor and stakeholder relations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project/event management tools (e.g., Givesmart).
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours.
- Familiarity with the Milwaukee philanthropic landscape.
