Summary:
The Arena Marketing Specialist plays a key role in driving ticket sales, growing brand engagement, and supporting the strategic marketing efforts of Fiserv Forum, Deer District, GATHER at Deer District, The Beer Garden, and BID53. Reporting directly to the Director of Arena Marketing, this role supports a wide range of marketing tactics designed to fill seats, amplify buzz, and oversee arena communications. This position will develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns, digital promotions, email marketing, grassroots outreach, media buys, building content calendars, and analyzing campaign performance. The ideal candidate is an innovative marketer with strong communication instincts, a strategic mind for driving results, and a passion for fast-paced, high-energy environments. A natural multitasker and detail enthusiast, this candidate will juggle both short-term activations and long-lead planning, while open to working nights, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and collaborate with promoters, agencies, and private event clients to build and execute comprehensive marketing and communication strategies for Fiserv Forum and Deer District events—including concerts, special events, family events, and private rentals. Tactics may include paid media, public relations, digital and email marketing, grassroots promotions, and social media strategy.
- Assist in developing marketing materials and procedures to have the department function effectively as an in-house agency.
- Partner with the in-house creative, digital, and direct marketing teams to amplify team assets, drive ticket sales, and uncover incremental revenue opportunities.
- Manage all arena communications including press releases, media outreach, and coordination of press events and conferences for concerts and events at Fiserv Forum and Deer District.
- Keep websites and social channels fresh and engaging for key venues including GATHER at Deer District and The Beer Garden, ensuring timely updates and on-brand storytelling.
- Assist with all social media platforms and additional promotional assets for Fiserv Forum and Deer District.
- Serve as a liaison for Deer District tenants to ensure timely and consistent messaging, promotional support, and collaboration on event initiatives.
- Maintain overall brand integrity across all platforms and outlets.
- Keep a pulse on national entertainment, event marketing, and hospitality trends—as well as local market dynamicsto ensure fresh, relevant, and impactful campaigns.
- Provide research support on prospective shows and musical acts to help evaluate potential bookings, marketing strategies and gifting.
- Assist and ideate creative tour & fan activations to enhance day-of-show experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3+ years of related work experience in live event entertainment marketing or communications and a proven history of leadership skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of modern marketing tactics and platforms, including social media, digital ads, marketing automation, and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. Background in copywriting, press releases and press conference preferred but not required.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Ability to work with a variety of departments and team members while maintaining a positive outlook and team-player mentality
- Be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
