Sponsorship Sales & Activation: Sponsorship Evaluation/Research
Brief Description of the Position:
The Sr. Manager of Strategy & Solutions is responsible for delivering the research, analysis, and presentation of data required to support growing current partnerships and developing new business for the Sales and Corporate Sponsorship Teams.

Research
  • Design, develop and execute, research, analyses, reports and dashboards to deliver effective, data-driven stories to the Sales/Partnership Marketing team and their clients.
  • Partner with the Strategy & Data Analytics team and other resources to obtain the necessary data to complete research projects and analyses.
  • Track sponsorship and sales trends around the NBA and other professional sports leagues.
  • Other research projects to include but not limited to prospecting, competitive analysis, best practices, and advertising and marketing campaign briefs.
  • Develop strategies for partner activations, analyze ROI, and measure performance.
  • Participate in group and individual brainstorming sessions to generate new and creative sponsorship activation programs. 
  • Work with 3rd party vendors for sponsorship valuations and tracking. 
  • Assist in the hiring and management of the Corporate Partnership Department Interns.

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a 4-year college or technical school; 4-6 years’ experience in corporate sponsorship research and analytics, strategy or sports marketing agency experience preferred. | Very organized and detail-oriented. Able to meet tight deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced, fluid environment while balancing multiple tasks at once. Experience with using and administrating a data visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI.  Strong understanding and experience in visualization / dashboard development best practices.  Strong SQL knowledge a plus.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.  Ability to learn, unlearn, re-learn emerging technologies, and quickly adapt and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
