Position Summary: The Manager, Business Solutions, plays a critical role in driving strategic initiatives that enhance corporate partnership offerings. This individual will be responsible for co-leading and executing the strategy and creative development that will help drive current and new business revenue for local and global partnership deals.
This individual will work collaboratively with the Director of Business Solutions and the Corporate Partnerships sales team to achieve and execute the sales plan strategy. This role will serve as the project lead for prospects and collaborate with internal department stakeholders, including but not limited to global partnerships, marketing, community, basketball operations, and social/digital content groups.
This Manager is also responsible for the creation of Lakers partnerships platforms for prospective sponsors (new business) and current sponsors (upsells and renewals) through: research (identify industry leaders, best practices, emerging technologies), platform development (idea generation, concept curation and proposal construction), internal vetting (division approvals), creative presentations (in collaboration with design team to bring vision to life) and inventory management/ P&L creation (CRM).

Education (required/ preferred): Bachelor’s Degree
Previous experience:
Technology Capabilities: CRM (EngageRM preferred), Wrike, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Nielsen, Power BI, Winmo, SponsorUnited, Relo Metrics or similar valuation platforms
Knowledge, skills, abilities:
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and walk significant distances in the arena on game day
Location: El Segundo (offices M-F), downtown Los Angeles (Crypto.com for select Laker home games), and other off-site client meetings
Travel: Must be willing to travel 5%-10% of the time to league meetings and client meetings
Hours: Regular office hours M-F plus nights & weekends for games/client events
The pay range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and certifications. In addition to those factors, we consider the relative pay of our current employees in similar positions when making a final offer.
