·       JOB SUMMARY:
Responsibilities of the Sr. Manager, Youth Sports Outreach, include but are not limited to:
 ·    Developing and executing a youth sports department business plan in coordination with Ticket Sales, Marketing, Community Relations and Basketball operations to activate a comprehensive approach to the Youth Sports market 
·         Increasing the Cavs Youth Sports footprint across Ohio, Western New York and Western Pennsylvania
·         Contributing to the Cavs culture by sparking energy, motivating, and inspiring team members
·         Establishing new relationships and enhancing current ones with facilities, programs, and key partners 
·         Identifying new opportunities within the Youth Sports space and providing recommendations to leadership
·         Providing guidance to the Youth Sports Team by providing regular coaching, feedback and mentoring
·         Being an active and collaborative leader across the organization

·       Oversee all daily operations of Youth Sports department including the management of two managers (Manager Youth Sports Operations and Manager Youth Sports Programs)  
·       Establish guidelines around free community clinics and work with Business Intelligence team to conduct analysis on new markets to determine correct pricing model for each market/community 
·       Manage relationship between Cavs Academy, Jr. Cavs, and Cavs Elite to make sure all elements of Youth Sports are in lockstep.
·       Assist with community partnerships and ensure all elements of partnership are fully executed, specifically overseeing the implementation and marketing of the included assets
·       Support Manager, Youth Basketball Programs, in developing and executing our 50th season community outreach plan 
·       Work with Partnerships department to ensure additional revenue streams are being generated in tandem with our youth sports programs by providing updates of Youth Sports assets and programs 
·       Collaborate with Sr. Manager, Youth Sports Development to determine new programs and partnerships to generate ticket sales
·       Work with Sr. Manager, Cavs Academy, to establish youth community activation plan and determine balance of scholarship participants for each clinic and camp 
·       Develop content for partner facilities around sport safety, sportsmanship, and other educational programs 
·       Evaluate marketplace and other Jr. NBA programs to establish best practices and areas of improvement for Cavs Youth Sports 

Requirements and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sport Management, Business Administration, or similar field 
  • At least 3-5 years of experience managing direct reports, executing business plans, and collaborating with other departments and partners
  • Past experience playing, coaching and/or management experience within the sport of basketball is preferred 
  • Prior experience with a professional sports team is a plus
  • Must possess dynamic leadership capabilities and a strong desire to succeed
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple daily tasks and meet deadlines
  • Highly organized with attention to detail throughout all job responsibilities is necessary
  • Must possess a team player attitude with the ability to collaborate and engage groups and other employees is critical
  • Strong verbal communication skills, presentation skills and customer service skills required
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays as needed
