POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Coordinator, Creative Partnership Activation will support the Cleveland Cavaliers Corporate Partnerships team as a creative storyteller, project manager, and internal/external point of contact. This role blends innovation with strategic thinking to bring partnership campaigns to life through engaging activations, high-quality creative deliverables, and exceptional client servicing. The coordinator will help deliver best-in-class partnership experience, maintain efficient operations, and contribute to new business development efforts.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Collaborate with internal creative teams, marketing, game presentation, and digital operations to ensure seamless execution of partnership elements and activations.
  • Develop and execute partnership deliverables and creative concepts that support sales, renewals, and activation efforts.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for creative operations, managing timelines, deliverables, and communication across internal departments and external partners.
  • Contribute to partnership ideation sessions and client meetings by providing creative insights, activation strategies, and operational expertise.
  • Produce presentation materials, recap videos, sales decks, and other client-facing assets that reflect the Cavaliers brand and exceed partner expectations.
  • Assist with tracking and reporting partnership deliverables, ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled and value is demonstrated through measurable results.
  • Support departmental operations including Salesforce data input, consistency, and tracking. 
  • Liaise on special projects with external vendors and internal teams to drive solutions that elevate the sales narrative and partnership experience. 
  • Engage in game day responsibilities, including managing in-arena activations and providing on-site partner support.
  • Participate in weekly meetings, report updates, and handle other assigned duties as needed. 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Preferably seeking 2+ years of related experience in partnership activation, marketing, creative production, or related field; sports and entertainment experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and desktop publishing tools, with expertise in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint/Excel/Word), Adobe Creative Suite, and Digideck. 
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and creative problem-solving.

  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills in a deadline-driven environment. 
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills with comfort working across diverse teams and client groups.
  • Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail, design quality, and brand consistency.
  • Detail-oriented, creative, and growth-minded, with a passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving. 
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including some evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
