JOB SUMMARY:

You want to break into the sports industry, and you’re ready to put in the work to get there. Rock Entertainment Group (REG) is looking for coachable, dedicated team members who listen well, communicate clearly, and are excited to learn the art of sales.

As part of our entry-level sales program, The Foundation, you’ll get hands-on training, mentorship, and real experience selling tickets across the Rock Entertainment Group portfolio, including the Cleveland Charge, Cleveland Monsters, and REG Franchise Ticket Sales Teams (REG Franchise Properties). You’ll build the skills to compete for full-time roles in senior ticket sales, service and retention, or group sales within the organization, based on your performance.

This is an entry-level, temporary position running from summer 2026 through May 2027. The role includes a mix of standard office hours and event days, and you will work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays as part of the live sports environment.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Generate ticket revenue through daily sales activities using both existing relationships and new business development, with a primary focus on the Cleveland Monsters, Cleveland Charge and the broader REG property portfolio.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline for REG Franchise Properties with a focus on B2B, group, and B2C sales.
  • Achieve individual ticket sales goals for the Monsters, Charge, and contribute to overall revenue goals for all REG properties.
  • Meet or exceed annual new business goals by using each home game and special event as an opportunity to engage clients, deliver strong customer service, and maximize revenue.
  • Generate new business by selling premium products, full and partial plans, group outings, and other ticket packages.
  • Meet or exceed established goals set yearly for new business, using each Charge and Monsters home game, as well as special events, as an opportunity to engage clients, deliver exceptional customer service, and maximize revenue opportunities.

Prospecting & Meetings

  • Prospect new B2B and group clients daily through cold calling, outreach, and networking.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual sales appointments, both in-office and off-site, as well as at prospecting events.
  • Entertain and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients through meetings, events, and other touchpoints.

Relationship Management & Service

  • Maintain strong relationships with an assigned account base while identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional products.
  • Sell, manage, service, renew, and upsell accounts for the Cleveland Monsters, Cleveland Charge, Lake Erie Crushers, and other REG properties as needed.
  • Represent the organization in the community and serve as a visible face of the teams at games and events.
  • Remain flexible and organized when selling across multiple teams and new opportunities as they arise.

Relationship Management & Service

    • Maintain strong relationships with an assigned account base while identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional products.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Preferably in Sports Management/Business, Sales, Marketing or Communication.
  • MINIMUM of 6+ months experience in sports, and/or direct sales; sports/event experience is preferred.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, a high degree of professionalism, the desire to grow your career in the business of sports, competitive energy, openness to learn, relentless work ethic, the flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing landscape.
  • Must have flexible availability including nights, weekends and occasional Holidays. 

 

COMPENSATION:

  • Base Salary: $30,000 + Overtime Pay + Commission.
